Fishing

Fishing is a relaxing AFK activity for the night or for when you step away from your PC. It won't make you rich, but by morning you'll have XP, scrolls and a chance at an XP rune for tomorrow's leveling.

What you need

  • Level 20+.
  • Fishing Rod: Fishing Rod Pack (1-day) for 20,821 Adena, or for 1000 Fresh Blue Mackerel + 3,077 Adena.
  • Normal Bait: 8 Adena each (or 2 for 1 Blue Mackerel + 2 Adena).
  • Fishing Shots (optional): 32 Adena each (or 1 Blue Mackerel + 4 Adena). Fewer failed catches.

Everything is sold by the Fishing Guildsman in Gludin, Gludio, Dion, Oren, Giran and Aden.

Where to fish

You can only fish in marked spots. When you're in a fishing zone, a fishing button appears on the right side of the screen.

  • Giran Harbor and Gludin Harbor (the Guildsman sells teleports there: 50 Blue Mackerel per scroll)
  • Giran Area, Outskirts of Aden, Floran Area
  • Fellmere Lake Area, Narsell Lake Area
  • Southern Shore of Wasteland, Langk Lizardmen Dwellings (coast)
  • Southern Waters of the Plains of the Lizardmen, Western Waters of the Ivory Tower

How to start

  1. Equip the fishing rod and keep bait in your inventory.
  2. Stand in a fishing zone and press the fishing button on the right.
  3. Your character fishes automatically. Just keep an eye on your bait.
  4. Set Fishing Shots to auto-use (like soulshots).

What you can catch

  • Blue Mackerel — the main catch, gives XP and SP.
  • Fresh Blue Mackerel — rarer, gives more XP.
  • Golden Treasure Chest — 5% of casts.

Double-click to open. It contains one reward:

  • XP/SP Scroll - Normal +30% (20 min)
  • Fishing Shot x50
  • Normal Bait x50
  • Daily Coin
  • XP/SP Scroll - High +100% (20 min)
  • Fishing Coin
  • Fishing Rod (10-day)
  • XP Rune Chest - 100% (2 h)

What to exchange your catch for

Everything is exchanged at the Fishing Guildsman.

Fishing Coins

  • XP Rune Chest - 100% (2 h) — 3 Fishing Coins
  • XP/SP Scroll - High +100% (20 min) — 1 Fishing Coin

Fish Stew and Roast Blue Mackerel (buffs, not usable in the Olympiad)

  • Fish Stew: Might, Shield (5 Blue Mackerel), Vampiric Rage, Empower (10), Magic Barrier (20)
  • Roast Blue Mackerel +1 STR/INT/CON/DEX/MEN/WIT — 45 Blue Mackerel
  • Fish Stew. The Guild's Gratitude — 60 Blue Mackerel or 35 Fresh Blue Mackerel

Other

  • Agathion - Aries (30 days) — 1000 Blue Mackerel + 500 Fresh Blue Mackerel
  • Teleport: Giran Harbor / Gludin Harbor — 50 Blue Mackerel
  • Expand Warehouse — 2822 Blue Mackerel per level
  • Expand Dwarven Craft (Dwarves) — 2822 Blue Mackerel per level

Daily mission

"Fisher": fish 5 times and get an XP/SP Scroll - Normal +30%. Resets every day.

Weekly mission

"Weekly Fisher": catch 100 fish in a week and get 10 Daily Coins. Resets on Monday.

Tips

  • Before going to bed, take plenty of bait: roughly one per cast.
  • With a Premium Account, fishing XP is doubled.
  • +100% scrolls and runes from chests are best used at a good leveling spot, not while fishing.
